  Organised by the highly regarded Aberdeen Snowsports Club, the event is the only one of its kind to be held in the United Kingdom.

Competitors from all over the United Kingdom will race head to head in an adrenalin and action packed knockout race along a course consisting of man-made and natural rollers, jumps, kickers and banked turns, all at high speed.

   Participation

Competition is open to skiers and snowboarders, male and female. 

For Insurance, all competitors need to be a member of a Snowsports Club. Membership can be purchased on the day for £8 Junior/Student, £12 Adult.

The minimum age for the event is 8 unless agreed by the organising committee.

There must be a minimum of 4 athletes in an age group to create an age group. If not, the athletes in the age group with less than 4 move up or down age groups until an age group is created.

All competitors must go through the registration process.

  Registration

All payments should be made on the day at the check in desks in the bottom cafe. Payments must be made in cash. This amount covers both days of competition; this does not include lift passes which will need to be purchased on the day.

Saturday  2nd

8.30 - 9.30am      Registration/check in    -    Bottom Cafe
9.30-10.30am       Course Inspection
10.30am               Competitor Meeting at top of course - course closed for maintenance.
11am               Qualifiers Start                             
                  Each group get 2 runs in a row, bib collection at registration desk & returned after 2nd run at bottom of course. Subject to change if required.
Results from Qualification will be posted from 7pm online and at the Fyfe Arms in Braemar.

 

Sunday 3rd

9.45-10.30am       Training Run

CALLING ALL F.A.S.T SKIERS! If you haven’t heard of FAST before then read on………………… Focussed Alpine Scottish Training is the brand name of the Scottish Combined Alpine Camps initiative. There are two main aims: (1) to increase cooperation between Clubs resulting in better planned and less fragmented year-round training programmes for young Scottish skiers and (2) to maximise economies of scale allowing foreign camps to be run more efficiently.
