Club Holiday, Flachau, Austria, 27th March to 3rd April

We are  organising a trip to Flachau in Austria.  Details on the resort can be found at www.flachau.com and www.flachau.at .  Flachau is in the middle of the huge Ski Amade area with an amazing “absolutPark” at Flachauwinkl , one of the longest and best terrain park s in Europe and an excellent snow record. Check it out and let us know either at the centre or via the website email if you are interested.  We already have 40 people interested, but we may have to limit spaces in our first year. We are holding an information meeting about the trip 15th November at 5pm at the ski centre.  All interested parties most welcome.

GPS

ASC is a member of the Glenshee Performance Squad, so our members are eligible to sign up to the coaching that is organised each weekend there is snow at Glenshee.  Please see the website http://www.glenshee-performance-squad.co.uk  for more information.

Club Journal

The 2009 ASC handbook and journal will be published over the next few weeks. If you have any articles you would like to contribute, please let us know.

Trophy cabinet and history wall

Next time you are getting your boots on at the centre, take a look at our new Club Trophy cabinet and Heritage wall.  Many thanks to Nora Pirie for buffing up all the trophies.  It’s great to see the club’s history back on display. More trophies and historic items will be added. Please let us know if you have anything worthy of display!
